My cat Arya has been with me since 2019 and since then she has been the light of my life. Arya's name is based on the Game of Thrones character (second option was Daenerys ngl). She is as brave as Arya Stark indeed — she loves to escape and explore, but happily she is now an indoor cat. She taught me to say 'I love you' with a slow blink and stays with me when I'm sick (even when she stole the chicken for my chicken soup 😹). It’s funny how she prefers to be petted with your feet instead of your hand. She shows me independence but has been beside me every day for years, making me grateful for each one of them. Now she shares our home with Rufus, an orange cat she’s learned to appreciate and play with.
