I found this book at a thriftie store. I like that the entire story takes place in Canada; it makes it feel more relatable, even if it's a bit apocalyptic. I like the climatic change focus and how he builds the story with time jumps, like tree rings. I recommend it.
The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo

This was the first book that I read in English. My mental imagen of Evelyn of course was based on Maria Felix. I don’t want to spoil you, so I’ll just say that I loved the plot twist. And I need a TV show about it.

I visited again on of my favorite books from childhood, and now I'm concernd about how that book ended in my hands being so young haha probably affect my idea of the love but formed my love lenguage about cooking, not just for others, but to me. I loooove that every episode has a recipe related.
